“The staff and teachers showed me there was hope, and they guided me on the right path. Without that push, I wouldn’t be where I am now.”

Our students come from towns across Massachusetts, from a variety of backgrounds. Each child is educated and treated according to his or her individual needs.

We teach students in grades 6-12 who have been diagnosed with or exhibit traits of: emotional challenges, depression, withdrawal, behavioral issues, low self-esteem, socialization problems, post traumatic stress disorder, or self-injurious behaviors.

Very often, students are referred to G. Stanley Hall School after months or years of problems at a public school. At our school, they find all the amenities of a public school together with the culture of support, and s the personalized attention they need to succeed.

Graduates of G. Stanley Hall School make their way in the world using the skills and education they learned within our halls. During the past three years, the majority of students who graduated from GSHS went on to college. Other students have entered into military service, and many have launched careers in high-demand industries like healthcare services, automotive repair, and culinary arts.
