G. Stanley Hall School offers a high quality curriculum
in a specialized setting. Academic courses are taught in accordance
with Massachusetts Frameworks. As such, all students are required
to take Math, English, Science, History, Physical Education and Health.
These subjects are taught by trained and experienced educators who
adapt traditional teaching methods to capture student attention, reduce
individual isolation, promote teamwork and instill individual accountability.
Our robust curriculum is enhanced by additional program goals, which
are incorporated into each classroom and activity in a variety of
ways:

In addition to our core curriculum, G. Stanley Hall School offers
a wide variety of electives from which students choose two each year.
The range of electives changes each year, but recent offerings have

- Creative Writing
- Current Events
- Film Studies
- French
- History of Massachusetts
- History of the Mid East
- Naval History
- Psychology
- Readers’ Theatre
- Russian
- Sociology
Students are continuously evaluated during the academic year.
Report cards are issued quarterly, and teachers are available
to discuss academic concerns on an as-needed basis.
